VICTOR BOLDEN SWORN-IN TODAY AS CORPORATION COUNSEL

(5/5/2009) NEW HAVEN-Victor Bolden was sworn in as the City of New Haven’s Corporation Counsel today. Bolden officially assumed this position today after spending nearly four months in the capacity of Acting Corporation Counsel.

In January, Bolden left his post as General Counsel for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund to become the new acting Corporation Counsel for the City. Bolden has been practicing law since 1990 and is a graduate of Harvard Law School. He earned his undergraduate degree at Columbia University. Bolden brings with him a wealth of experience, knowledge and a passion for the law as he assumes this important position.
